This was a wonderful historical document on the life and legacy of Pope John Paul ll. I can assume this may have been done prior to his death as there was no mention of his passing during the video biography. The biography was beautifully put together and showed the high points of his papacy including his many travels around the world. My only quarrel is with the Messiah. The music and choir were not mixed up very high. This means that unless you intend to listen with headphones, you will have to crank up the volume pretty loud if listening on a PC. A good home stereo system should be ok I can assume. I have a very good sound card on my PC so with an inferior sound card it will be very unsatisfying. But given that this was meant to be a documentary on his life the music was merely a side-car so I can't really complain. A beautiful set indeed. The prayer cards were a pleasant bonus. As well as the Latin Mass. If not intending to buy on Amazon, Borders stores have new copies in their bargain sections.
