Music Review: You Can't Keep a Good Thing Down

Being a 30 year old Catholic, I can truly appreciate the beauty of Tradition captured in these stirring masterpieces. After completing a Humanities course in Medieval and Renaissance Art during my last year at a State Univ. I was blown away by what I realized was a forgotten and neglected treasure of Catholicism - Its Sacred Music, Art, and Architecture.
This CD hits it out of the park with a collection of rare and beautiful Catholic hymns that you won't get in other CD's. A glance at some of these nearly forgotten hymns include: 'O Sanctissima' and 'Adoramus Te, Christe'. Listen to these 2 samples provided by Amazon and you will see why they are Classics. This CD lifts the veil to treasures of our Catholic Faith suppressed for decades by forces at work in the modern era Catholic Church.
Why modernists decided to deprive my generation of our Catholic heritage and richness of our Faith, only God knows, but I don't want to be in their place when they stand before Him.
