Music Review: Wecome Back Glen!

I thought that there would never be one of Glen's Musical delights that I would cherish as I do Palookaville- and yet I am finding hard to stay away from Welcome to Hollywood. I am spending much more time with my computer lately (with headphones on), pretending to "work" just so I can spend a few private moments with one of the very best! (oh, musicians....)
I love "Cry" and "Roses", but it is "Another" that actually brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard it. I can listen to every song over and over without ever becoming tired of it. I am glad that Glen is in this world, making it a better place. I miss hearing his melodious contributions to Styx, but I think that he is better on his own. BUY THIS CD!!

Long-awaited new album from this artist, who brought us the melodic rock classics 'Talking In Code' & 'Heroes & Zeros' (both on A&M Records) in the glorious eighties. That's a long time ago of course & in the year 2004 Glen Burtnik, who became famous as Tommy Shaw's replacement in Styx, sounds different. In less than 50 minutes no less than 16 compact songs pass in review of which Glen has the following to say: 'These songs are perhaps the strongest I've ever written & the production is about as big a sound as I've ever heard come out of two speakers.
