I have not heard the sound of the performance on this label; I cannot comment on this. However, I have lived for decades with various tapes and CD issues which had excellent stereo (unusual for its day) sound.

The VIDEO of the is available for a very reasonbly price through
bershirerecords.com or through Premier Opera. So why bother with this CD only pressing at all. The video is in black and white so please don't expect this to look like something from a major company like DG or EMI.
However, it is extremely watchable, clear and the sound is fine in mono.

By the way the performance itself is magnificent: it is so exciting to see a handsome young Abaddo leading such fabulous voices in their physical and vocal prime. This is a gem that should not be missed!
