Music Review: Takes you back to 1978

I have to agree with the other reviewers. Everyone knows the hits, but the other songs are great as well, especially "Home and Dry." If you thought "Baker Street" was good, pick up this disc. When I was a kid, my dad never let us use the record player or touch his records. So when he wasn't around this was the album that my sister and I would sneak a listen to...we couldn't get enough Gerry!Music Review: The Best Album of one of Rock's Most Talented

I've enjoyed this, the best of Rafferty's albums for years. This man has great production, musicians, and songs. I would buy this album just for "City to City", but like most am thrilled with "Right Down the Line" and "Baker Steet". An absolute must for any serious rocker, I am ordering another CD because my son refuses to give mine back.Music Review: I GOT THE WRONG CD! SO WAISTE OF TIME!!!!!!!!

WELL I ORDERED THAT CD AND ENDED UP GETTING THE WRONG CD! THE DIDNT EVEN SEND ME THE RIGHT CD, BUT HE SAID I COULD KEEP THE CD THAT I DIDNT EVEN LIKE! OH THANKS PAL!!! I WILL NEVER BUY OFF THIS SITE AGAIN! EBAY IS THE WAY TO GO! ATLEAST THERE THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT GETTING POSTITIVE FEEDBACK AND WILL TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! most reviews mention the most famous titles like Baker Street and Right Down the Line, but listen to all
solo guitar parts on Waiting for the Day, I think I have never
heard something so plain and full of energy thanks
to I think Andy FairweatherLow ; also Stealing Time
has such great sounds (pedal steel ??).
This is an absolute must have.
Music Review: A Truly Phenomenol collection of songs

Rarely does one come across such a fantastic array of songs in one album. From the soulfull 'Arc' to the country beat of 'City to City'. The outstanding sax in 'Baker Street' and the superb lyrics and piano in 'Write down the line'. Its been 20 years since this album came out and I feel that till now it ranks as one of the Greatest ones put together
