Music Review: Great Purchase!!

I was completely satisfied with the selection of music on this CD. It is a fascinating collection of music from the past that actually sheds more light on contemporary music. The lyrics for a few of the recordings are difficult to understand because of the age of the recoding itself, but even with that the CD propelled me to an enjoyable and rarely used state of mind. One great surprise this CD contains, is an actual recording of Thomas A. Dorsey talking about his career. It is a wonderful way to compare and contrast the careers of the young musicians on the scene today to Dorsey's own personal experiences he speaks of on this recording. If you are into historic music or even if you aren't, I would suggest buying this recoding for its shear raw beauty and power to transport you back to the days when it was recorded.
