Music Review: Not an "80's-Genesis" fan but...

My fan-furor for Genesis is really based more on their earlier stuff. Throughout the 80's I continued to listen but was continually disappointed with each new album. "Live Over Europe" brings the very best of their pop-popularity-music and presents it in an exciting, energetic, and enjoyable way that even a unenthusiastic fan like myself can enjoy. We are from Mill in the Netherlands and we are big fans of GENESIS. We followed them this tour to Duesseldorf/Germany, where they gave a great performance in the LU-hall, where the sound is great! And then we followed them to ROME, where they gave a MAGNIFICENT concert in the open air on Circo Massimo. FANTASTIC. I have every Genesis cd ever made including all the live versions and after seeing this concert in 2007, this cd is excellent in the songs they picked to put on the cd,as well as the quality. I just wished they used a diffferent title so they could have included some songs from the U.S. tour as well.(Genesis live 2007 tour) 5 stars for any Genesis fan....Music Review: A nice compilation of old and new Genesis

I am a huge Genesis fan and I have gone to all their concerts in the LA area in the last 20 years. I like this livce CD a lot since it has nice old songs like "In the Cage" and good newer ones in the 80's like "Home by the Sea" and "Domino". Probably the most complete concert and great sound quality, but...a little powerless. And, i'm not musician, but do they "down" the songs? I think they put the songs a few tones lower...and you'll note that. That's trouble me.
Well, it's still a god cd and you'll wanna hear it, but have to take this as a warning.
