Music Review: A promising solo career not fulfilled

And I really can't say why. This second album of the front-man from the boy-band (well, now a men-band) 'Take That' had everything that could make him a superstar, no less than George Michael (whice is extremely talented also).
His songwriting skills, to my taste, is second to none. His voice is clear, sincere, and really can touch the listener's heart. The songs on this CD are original, catchy, with a variety of styles - yet it is heared as a whole project.
Every time I listen to this terrific album, I don't skip any of the tracks.
I think it's just a big unjust that Robbie Williams is the big star, and Gary Barlow was left behind. Anyway, now he's back in the game with Take That, and that's better than not being in the music business at all!
I still love to listen to Twelve Months, Eleven Days, and it sounds fresh, as if it was recorded just yesterday. Anyone who loves a good-quality pop music, will love this gem of an album.
My favorite tracks here are: the engergetic For All That You Want, the lovely mid-tempo All That I've Given Away, the touching Before You Turn Away, and Yesterday's Girl (one of the most beautiful ballads I've heard in my life until now - I'm not joking!) Even the extras on this CD, the enached part, are worth getting this album somehow. Even if you have to buy it used, it's a must for every true music lover. Gary, if you will ever read this reveiw - return to your solo career! I believe there are many fans of yours out there waiting eagerly for a new album. Continue with Take That, that's great also - but don't leave your solo abilities behind. You can be as great as Robbie Williams, with the right promotion!
