Music Review: Brings back memories of a rainy night in Tulsa.

Only Garth could pull this off. If you have been to one of his concerts, it will bring back great memories. No it is not studio quality, it is live, and as such it is not the same, if you are looking for that uninterrupted sound, buy another album. His fans are there singing to him and with him, he loves it and so do they. Garth Brooks is a first class showman, no one can ever say they are bored when at his concerts. This is for those of us that want a reminder of the fun and tears we shared with him from the stage. I'd pay to see him and sit in the rain all over again. This album is a reminder why....he loves his fans, and we love him.Music Review: Poor Sound Quality....Don't Buy Into All The Garth Hype!

I listened to a friends CD over the last few days (I did not want to be a part of the buying hype of the first week). Almost all the songs are drowned out by crowd noise to the point of becoming unnerving. Garth may be a great showman but this recording shows what a poor singer and how fragile his voice is. I am amazed that they chose some of these tracks (these were the best ones?). As far as the huge Garth marketing machine for this CD (and all other projects) I hope some of these Garth fans will save their money and buy just one copy of this CD (Not 7!!)...Garth's music is all show and very little substance...Music Review: Great Package!!!!

I have read all the reviews that are listed and I'm a little confused. Is it that some of you who rated this poorly, really Garth Fans. I have been to concerts from all kinds of groups, and I can tell you that I have not gone to one where someone isn't flat or off key. If you really listen to this double CD set, he is reacting to the crowd. He is very emotional when the crowd sings with him. Give the guy a break, where else can you go to a concert and pay $18.or pay only $13 for a double CD. No other solo artist or group will do this for there fans. He is the only artist that gives you more than what you pay for.Music Review: Got this cd in Limited Series box & I love it

I got this Double Live Cd in Garth Brooks Walmart Limited series box and it is my favorite. I have never been a big Garth Brooks fan but I did like some of his songs like Friends in Low Places but now I like his more upbeat songs like Papa loved Mama, Callin' Baton Rouge and Tearin' it up. I also like more serious songs like The Thunder Rolls, Unanswered Prayers and Standing Outside The Fire. I don't really like the other Cd's that came in the box other than the dvd with music videos and live performances. The double live sounds great and yes he does let the audience sing like in unanswered prayers but its still good.Music Review: It's all about Garth

This CD is just typical Garth Brooks. In fact, it's almost the same CD as The Hits (just arranged in a different order). I would've liked to have had more songs from Fresh Horses and Sevens rather than the older ones that were already on The Hits. However, the songs are still good and sound great live. The standout songs are the amazing crowd sing-a-longs Unanswered Prayers and The Dance. Also, finally, we get to have the new and complete versions of Tomorrow Never Comes and Friends in Low Places. These four songs are enough to make me want the CD but with all the other hits this CD turns into a must have.
