Music Review: Excellent Soundtrack Rating: 5 Stars
This is a CD you will enjoy regardless of whether you have seen the movie. The song by Los Cojolites, a band of youngsters age 12-20 with a fresh twist on the Veracruz sound is a gem and a truly feel good song. If you like Hispanic music in any way this is a CD worth getting, many styles are represented.
Music Review: wonderful soundtrack to a great movie !! Rating: 5 Stars
This cd is so passionate and the musicianship spot on. Its amazing how the music seems to fit so well with Fridas life. I know really nothing about Hispanic musicians and am happy to say after reading the liner notes I will look into other musicians on this cd. Buy this cd you will not be dissapointed !
Music Review: Ah, Mexico Rating: 5 Stars
What a wonderful CD. I was pleasantly surprised by the music. Sometimes soundtracks sound so...soundtracky. This one is different, it makes me think of Mexico. I feel like donning billowy skirts and huipils and drinking a fruity tequila drink when I listen to this CD. It's very refreshing.
Music Review: Yeah 5 Stars
I am from Frida's hometown of Coyoacán, México, and I love these songs! The classical tracks get a bit boring, but the vocals are muy Debes compres la CD de Elliot Goldenthal y la mujer de razones, arte, y sexo con mala salud, Frida Kahlo
