Music Review: A Bridge is Built

This albumn, like its predecessor, Moving Forward, is a direct result of the anointing over Ricardo Sanchez and the worship team and ministry of Free Chapel, Gainesville, Georgia. Ricardo is the talented, humble worship leader there, leading a powerful team of musicians intent on offering the sacrifice of praise.
This albumn has some songs so powerful that they in themselves are worth the price of the albumn. I am Forgiven, Power of the Cross, Very Same Power, are three written by Israel Houghton and Ricardo Sanchez which reflect a depth of musicianship and friendship that makes this duo a powerhouse for God. The bridges in the songs are incredible, which balance out some of the repetitive nature of the verses of the more traditional praise and worship songs. Despite a couple of less than memorable songs, as is true with almost all albumns, there are standouts in both depth and variety within this albumn. This albumn will fill the worship needs of a variety of individuals from the bluesy sounds of Jentezen Franklin's rendition of The Blood, to some of the techno oriented praise and worship songs, and the gospel sound of the talented Rory Comtois. This is an albumn not to be missed.
