Music Review: Great intro to skate rock

A few years back, Alternative Tentacles Records put out four volumes of skaterock albums: Free Beer, Los Olvidados, Drunk Injuns, and JFA. All great bands and great albums. The bay area band Free Beer is on Volume 1 and a great introduction to skate rock(hardcore punk bands that focused a little bit more on skateboarding than politics).
The album starts out with a cool instrumental(Pigs in Space) and ends with a number of great live tracks. I am really sorry I did'nt check these guys out sooner. I can picture grabbing my board and shreading while listening to these guys back in the day.
If you like bands like The Faction, Agression, Ill Repute, and Los Olvidados, than this album is definitly worth checking out.
