Music Review: Liszt childhood pieces brought to life

Many of the pieces are recorded here for the first time ever. Hyperion and Howard have done a great job obtaining many pieces thought lost and Hyperion certainly chose the right pianist for their recordings.

Here we hear all of Liszt's childhood pieces and I was thrilled by many of them. It's facinating to see how Liszt developed and by listening to these cd's you'll gain great insight to this genius' later works as well.

A double cd filled with curious and delightful pieces. A must have for Liszt fans.
