My copy not only bronzed, but developed numerous see-through "holes" on the play side and is completely non functional. What does one do about such a disc? It is out of print, so the manufacturer could not replace it even if they so chose.
As for the performance, I would say it was a respectable run through. Not even vaguely French in style. It has been completely eclipsed by more recent versions, particularly Jordi Savall's.
