Music Review: Excellent Album

Mr. Held has done a wonderful work with these long-lost pieces. His tone is excellent and the playing wonderful. The intonation of his instrument remains constant, throughout. We live in an age with panoramic views of the past; here we can enjoy the long lost sound world of French Baroque lute music. It's nice to hear a different plucked sound and also the music performed as it was intended. If you play classical guitar or Renaissance lute, get this album for an added historical perspective and for some very nice music.
