Music Review: must own for Flatt and Scruggs fans

This is a wonderful CD and at the same time a little strange which really just makes it that much better...with Mother Maybelle Carter doing some harmonys and playing her harpsichord, Flatt and Scruggs pull up the Goods, and play slower than usual I'm guessing so Maybelle could keep up.....Scruggs plays the six string on some songs and it sounds amazing..the whole disc is a Wonderfully blue sounding recording with the best renditions of "The Storm is on the Ocean" "Foggy Mountain Top" and "Forsaken Love" that I've ever heard.......this isnt a blasting bango/bluegrass more than it is country, yeah, it leans more to old timey country, which is really great and if your a Flatt and Scruggs fan you know they sound great doing about anything....I recommend this disc highly, if you're thinking about it getting it, dont make the mistake of not ordering, for how cheap it is, it seems as though there is gold here right for the picking......and when you hear SCRUGGS putting down his banjo and Picking the six string you will thank me!!
