Music Review: American Beer leaves bad taste in mouth

Lee Ving and Fear are back with their new album "American Beer". The same old tired themes resurface, such as drinking and Ving's disertations on being white trash. Unfortunatley, Fear has turned to vinegar with age, losing the anger and spark that they possessed throughout the early 80's. Some songs on the album are relatively mediocre, like "Surgery", but all the tracks pale in comparison to their previous albums. The chord progressions are extremely dissonant, and the songs are far from memorable. I would suggest hearing this disc from a pal first before spending your hard earned cash on it.
