Music Review: Beautiful Japanese folk music

I don't usually write reviews but I felt I had to offer a different perspective than the review I read here. This music is quality in my opinion. As the description says, in many cases its centuries old.. I always appreciate music that has been preserved for so long because it offers us a chance to hear something similar to what people hundreds of years ago might have heard. This music is one of many many examples of traditional Japanese music and in my opinion its an important and unique example. As the title states, its folk music, and as such its performed with many imperfections.. which in my opinion is some of its charm. The feeling of this music is very loose and relaxed to me. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in traditional musics of all kinds and especially in traditional forms of Japanese music.
