Music Reviews of My Secret LifeMusic Review: New E.V.B. Standards Rating: 5 Stars
This is a great work. Every song grabs you with the hook and each cut is different. From the opening tributes to Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding through the jazzy blues of Jazzman and ending with the Leonard Cohen title track, this is Eric's crowning achievement. Do not miss this fabulous album from a legendary performer.
Music Review: My Secret Life Rating: 5 Stars
I saw Eric in Cleveland at a Rock Hall fund raiser the day before this CD was released and he did 2 songs from it - the crowd loved it! No Rick Nelson, Garden Party type reception to this material.
Music Review: Absolutely Perfect. Rating: 5 Stars
Eric Burdon has never left his music nor his friends and fans. There's no reason to leave the 60's behind, Eric has brought them back to us-in a more mature, yet powerful, work. Absolutely perfect.
Music Review: Eric Burdon is still an Animal Rating: 4 Stars
The way Eric Burdon sings from his throat it's amazing his voice is still intact. He is as better than ever. Not his best album but anything by him is better than 90% of the stuff out there.
Music Review: The Best Burdon disc of the past 20 years Rating: 5 Stars
Much as others have said... interesting variety, solid production. I think his voice is much stronger here than on other releases of the past two decades.
