Music Review: A treasure for the ages!

For me this CD represents a reaffirmation of my Hispanic roots. The CD came out at a time when I felt tropical music was not what it used to be. Salsa and Merengue were, and are going through a stage in which all the material promoted seems to fit a predisposed pattern. Fortunately, the CD came out, and I once again realized that Latin music is what reaches deep down inside my soul. This CD, with what I have coined as "Puerto Rican Merengue", is a must. Decades from now, when anyone hears the first notes of Suavemente, they'll automatically remember the dusk of millennium and the prelude of a new one. This one is one for the ages!!!!

Cuando pasen los an`os, la musica de Elvis Crespo me recordara de todo lo que acontecio en mi vida al finalizar este milenio. Cada cancion me recordara de un lugar, o una persona, o de una ocasion. Y se que al volver a escuchar esta musica me sentire como si el tiempo no hubiese pasado y como que mi juventud estuviese aun en su gloria. Solamente bastara con escuchar la palabra Suavemente para que recuerde esos bellos momentos y bellas personas con las cuales disfrutamos de uno de los clasicos de la musica latina!!!
