Music Review: What's With Modern Remastering???

Look this is 5 star classic american culture at its finest...but what's with modern remastering? Do the folks who do this really know how music is supposed to sound? These are over-isolated, over-cleansed and sterile sounding recordings. Echoes for example, have been removed alterering the sense of time and swing inherent on the initial releases. This approach is fine if you like to listen and admire each voice / instrument as a seperate entity, but if you want to hear the music swing and sway, seek out the unremastered versions of these awsome recordings.
