Music Review: Twang with the edges sanded smooth.

I can't criticize the musicianship, but the interpretations were a little too polished and experimental for my tastes.

There is old-time country music, and there is bluegrass. Between those styles stands the Dry Branch Fire Squad. "I figure we're kind of a missing link," says leader Ron Thomason. "In fact, I look at us as Neanderthals or somethin'."
