i love most of the songs on here, but it's the songs that aren't included that really made me a donna summer fan. songs like "working the midnight shift" and "now i need you" .... those were the precursors to what we call Techno these days. that said i certainly hope the journey isn't over yet. she deserves to go out with a bang like Cher did with "Believe" ... but with Donna it should be a pounding rock song to remind people that she was much much more than "the queen of disco".Music Review: Great Pop/Disco

I enjoyed this cd alot....Well OK fine i got the 'anthology' from 1993 instead but..Lol it's basicly the same songs.
I enjoyed this, I'm one who doesnt like to say 'i like disco' but...If you look at dance pop today...It's much better, more fun. Heck. Not only does the music behind these songs work still...The lyrics are much maturere then most current dance pop.
I enjoy it and so do my parents. It's a great album. Everyone needs Donna Summer.
Music Review: the queen of disco! (and more)

This is a great collection by the queen of disco that shows she does a lot more than just disco! It's wider range of stuff than her "On the Radio" album and does a good job of showing her diversity. A really amazing singer. Good to have all this stuff on CD, since my old vinyl records were wearing out! :)
Lots of fun and upbeat stuff on this album to put your in a great mood, plus some great ballads. Definitely one that you'll play again and again.

This CD is a classic. I have loved several of the songs on this cd for years and now to have my own copy is really a great experience. I have used the song last dance at all the special needs dances we have had and I have worn out the copy I had. It is great to have another. Thanks to Amazon I am always able to locate whatever music I want regardless of the age of the album or the artist. I thought I wouldn't get this one because it was just another greatest hits that I already had. But when i finally did get it I loved the new songs and the bonus disc that came with it. I had never heard the extended remix of "This Time I Know It's For Real" and I love that song. Now I love the remix even more! I also love the bonus songs and there remixes. Long live the Queen of Disco! Keep it up Donna and Keep us dancin!
