Music Review: Exceptional for the Marquez!

Just when I thought there was no more symphonic music left to be discovered, along comes Gustavo Dudamel and the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra playing two wonderful works by Arturo Marquez with such passion I want to get up and dance when I hear them. The exhilaration imparted is so intense I cannot imagine any black mood from which these two pieces could not rescue me.
The other bands are fine, but I prefer to listen to complete works rather than single movements. But the disc is more than worth the money for the Marquez alone!
