Music Review: Boris Karloff can't be beat!

I've been looking for this recording for some time, and was delighted to find it on Amazon. There are many recordings of Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf," most narrated by famous actors, but this one takes the prize. Karloff is best known for his horror movies, particularly the original "Frankenstein," but he also made several records for children. He is a superb storyteller, and his voice is filled with enthusiasm, a bit of whimsy, and authority -- quite a combination. This is a classic!
