Music Review: Devdas kicks 5 Stars
I own both the DVD & the soundtrack for three years now and every time I watch/listen to them, it just keeps getting better. The CD music quality is just absolutely brilliant! I'm used to hearing all types of Bollywood music and other Asian artist from my Dad on the old 60 and 90-minute tapes(WHOA! You remember those?!) So I know how vast the Asian music industry's quality of music, has improved to meet today's 21st century standards.
Devdas just sums up all that hidden talent the Asian community has to offer. The movie equally displays the highest standard of film quality as, Devdas sets the record for the most $$$ spent on an Asian film in regards to cinematography, plot, props and actual film quality itself. The cameras used to film the movie were that of a CGI-only based film.
I can hardly wait until the next big Bollywood hit. I only hope future big budget films will at least try to aspire too and/or exceed the expectations of Devdas fans like myself.
