Music Review: GOOD, BUT NOT WINNING, COMBINATION

Combining later era Deep Purple with Rainbow, you might be hard pressed to tell which song was by which band, as half of Rainbow was often in common, line-up wise, with Purple.
The second track, "Hush" is a remake of the original with Gillan and Glover. It was originally recorded by DP Mark I: Simper and Evans. It worked better as a melodic tune-and isn't at all well-suited to Gillan's vocal acrobatics.
Other than that, it's worth the price (selling for less than $1 in cases) for the cuts off of "Perfect Strangers" and the Rainbow cuts with Turner and Bonnett on vocals.
