Music Review: A little cheesy but still has some great tunes - overall a pretty good indie rock album - 4.5 stars

Days Away's "Mapping An Invisible World" is a very good indie rock album with a couple flaws. Like a lot of other similar albums, it's a bit cheesy and a guilty pleasure (the singer isn't that likable I would argue). The lyrics aren't really that interesting either. However, they definitely know how to create some very catchy songs. The musicianship verges on great, and it's usually fun to listen to. I don't think that it's for everyone, but indie rock fans might like this. "Gods & Mars" definitely gives it some greater appeal, though. That track alone bumps it to a "4.5" from a "4". Overall I think I would recommend this.
