Music Review: Another slept on Loud Records epic by a multi-talented diva

Jeopardy answer: Do-it-all diva, including co-mix engineering her debut album.
Jeopardy question: Who is Davina? Correct. Her debut album here BEST OF BOTH WORLDS is an understatement. She carries all worlds within her, two is not enough.
The woman plays all instruments on most songs, writes or co-writes most songs, the album is produced by her alone. Where did this album go wrong? She touches elements of R&B/soul/jazz/fusion and yes hip-hop (she was signed to Loud Records, a hip-hop label then). The songs? What about them? There are 13 of them that refuse to disappoint the listener. "So Good", her introductory hit says enough, must buy. She covers Michael Jackson's "I Can't Help It" in a new jack/shuttle swing instead of a ballad. Style. There's more ballads here than dance tracks so be prepared to pump your brakes, she's on a smoove (and smooth) vibe!
BEST OF BOTH WORLDS is not showing attraction to sell her product by exposing body parts by Davina. In fact, a first look at Davina, you may just see this as nothing more than a hip-hop album. Don't judge her book by her cover. Satisfying disc.
