Music Review: Where's my drums?!

New age contemporary borderline smooth electronica. Not a terrible thing in of it self, but if you are advertising drums...I expect a CD full of native DRUMS. Not flutes, not synth, not bass, but drums!
I'm sick of every single "drum" album being just more contemporary fusion. All the drums here are overshadowed by the rest of the ensemble. I also have to agree with the real natives that complained, this ain't the real deal. Practically the only place to get the real music is going to pow wows, and I rarely get a chance to go to those anymore. I just chalk this up to poor titling. Also what's a track with Japanese style music doing on this CD? Again, bad advertising.
Track 8 is the only track that is ALMOST true to the album's cover. I played the sample of it, and it sounded like just drums. Like I wanted! I download it and low and behold! Electric Guitar solo and frigging flutes. Grrrr. Shameful. Absolutely shameful. These guys do have talent, but they should be more honest in their advertising. If you are going to do fusion, CALL IT FUSION. If you are going to do an album dedicated to drums, THEN CALL IT DRUMS.
