Music Review: Inspirational Film Themes = Soothing Listening

I took a flyer on this CD because I've been trying to find the soundtrack from the film "Brother Sun, Sister Moon", which sadly does not exist, but the main theme is included on track 7 of this CD. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised. Themes included are taken from the following movies: "King of Kings, "The Bible", "Ben-Hur", "Francis of Assisi", "Song of Bernadette", "Brother Sun, Sister Moon", "Sodom and Gomorrah", "Quo Vadis", "The Robe', and "The Greatest Story Ever Told". Twelve tracks in all. The arrangements are done with a gentle piano, accompanied by what sounds like a computer-orchestra. It actually works out well, and I found the CD very enjoyable, given the resources used. The CD is produced by a company called "Gentle Spirit Music". Their mailing address and website are included on the back of the CD cover. I checked out the nice website and found other recordings that are available for purchase. I can recommend this CD without any hesitation.
