Ants Marching (10 of 10)- A great live version of a song that would make them huge. The song is awesome, and the band does a great job on it. The lyrics are upbeat, great, and the music is awesome. Boyd does a great job here.

Tripping Billies (10 of 10)- It's cool to see how long a song has been around before finally making its way onto a CD. It waited to appear on "Crash" several years later, their second major album on RCA. The song is great, and once again Boyd plays awesome, in a rockin' solo. This song contains probably their most quoted line, "Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die."

Recently (10 of 10)- Although the live version on "Red Rocks" is a lot better, this song it still awesome, and it's cool to see how it's evolved over time. It's a very good song with very original lyrics.

Sattelite (10 of 10)- One of my all time favorite Dave songs, it is awesome to hear it this early in their career. This song was originally called "After Her" (you can find it on the internet to download) and it later evolved into this. This early version of this song is one of the best versions. I love this song.

One Sweet World (11 of 10)- This is probably my favorite song on the CD. It's got such cool lyrics, and such cool music, and it even has Ice Cream named after it. The song is spectacular to listen to. This and "Live at Luther College" are the only CD's it appears on, and this si the only CD where it is played by the whole band. I love this song.

The Song That Jane Likes (11 of 10)- Dav'e sister, Jane, really likes this song. I guess that's how it got the name. The song is very good, the lyrics sweet, and loving. I love every minute of this song too, and it is one of my all time favorites. YOu should buy this CD just to have a version of this song.

Minarets -(10 of 10)- This is a great song, and it has an interesting sound. The lyrics are pretty cool, and the song is very fun the listen to. The whole band shows their talent so will in this song. It is a very good song.

Seek Up (11 of 10)- Like "Jane" this CD is worth is just for this song. I had heard the "Red Rocks" version before this version, and I wanted to hear it's original version. This is the only place the studio version exists. The lyrics are great and it is one of my all time favorite Dave songs. I live this song, and the lyrics.

I'll Back you up- (10 of 10)- This song has what are probably the best lyrics Dave has written. They are magnificent. I love the line "Do as you please, I'll back you up." This song is so good. You have to ehar it to believe the lyrics.

Christmas Song (11 of 10)- Another of my all time favorite Dave songs. The lyrics are great, and the story is classic. This is one of ym favorite songs the band plays. I think it's so cool to hear it a long time ago, nearly five years before it ever made it onto another album (live in Chicago).

In conclusion, this is probably their best CD. It is a compilation of some of their best songs, such as Tripping Billies, One Sweet World, and Christmas Song. It also contains songs that would make them huge, like Ants Marching and Satellite. This CD is great, becuase it is Dave as they truly are, no studios, no producers, just the pure magic of the Dave Matthews Band.
