Music Review: A melodic procession through a true piano soundscape
Rating: 4 Stars
Delicate sounds, combinations, chords and melodies blend together in this album that takes you on a journey. There is something about the tone, pace and the blend of soul that quiets the mind. This album lives up to it's name. When I play this album, my mind finds a place of serenity that I haven't found from all the other music both classical and contemporary. As an audiophile, of about 6,500 tracks, I am yet to find music that brings such quietness to the mind.
I get the feeling that Eggar plays from the soul combining the classical training in his mind with the emotion of his heart, creating as he plays something that transcends both of these. If piano is a favourite instrument and you like to escape the hustle/bustle of you own mind, then this may be the album for you. I have found his other works (Angelic Embrace) to also be quite moving.
