Music Review: Inspired! Mind Bogglingly Good

I have enjoyed Elfman's slighlty bent mind for years and of course pair that with Tim Burton's slightly twisted yet beautiful creations. And if not for a reoommendation of a friend I would have skipped this musical score altogether. This is such an inspiring set of compositions. I prefer to listen to it through headphones for the full effect of the music and purity of the choruses used. Although full stereo is equally delicious.
This score is haunting at times, lively at times, melancholy and truly a breathtaking work of art. (I could leave the Tom Jones song at the end)
After listening to the score and then watching the movie it enlivens the experience. But without the movie this music can jumpstart your imagination. My 7 year old loves to sit and listen to this and draw.
This score is a work of art!
