Music Review: Worth finding...

I sought this album out for the title track, which I absolutely love, but it took some searching used CD shops. It was worth finding! Beyond "Tracy," there's the similarily melodic and harmonic but more love-impaired "Where Do You Go," a version of "Sweet Caroline" much more palatable than Neil Diamond's, the sweet love tale "Early In The Morning," and the dynamic and ultimately depressing "All The Young Women," a song that touches on the tragedies and losses of Vietnam here at home. If you love the music of the 60s and 70s, and find this album, grab it... you won't regret it.
Description of Tracy
2008 digitally remastered and expanded edition of the debut album from the '60s Bubblegum band fronted by Ron Dante, best known for being the vocalist for The Archies. The Cuff Links were a legendary studio group featuring Ron Dante and were the brainchild of Pat Rizzo (formerly of Joey Dee and the Starliters). Featuring sax, trumpet, guitar, bass, drums, organ and vocals, the seven-piece combo created an infectious sound with their innovative renditions of contemporary Pop hits and they came to the attention of legendary song-writing/production team Paul Vance & Lee Pockriss ('Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini') In addition to the debut album, we have added the subsequent Decca singles (featuring vocalist Joey Cord) and with one exception, all make their CD debut here.
