Music Review: Excellent!

With a unique brand of east coast hip-hop and Bible-inspired lyrics, The Cross Movement has put together a great CD. The lyrical skills are abundant and the production is top-notch. If you're a non-believer and you're reading this review- get this CD. From a musical standpoint, you'll be blown away. The lyrics throughout HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES don't come across as preachy but simply as testimony and tellin' like it is on the level- no punches pulled. I AM THAT I AM is simply one of the toughest cuts I've heard in some time. JUST FOR YOU, SUPER STARS and OFF THE HOOK are among the other strong tunes. HOUSE OF REP'S is about healing of the nation- not only our youth but all who listen with their hearts. Some folks just got a thing against rap. I say- Yo! Listen BEFORE you make your decision. The Cross Movement has a powerful message drawn from the gospel and their own experiences that deserves to be heard. It doesn't hurt that the sound is booming and the grooves are solid, either.
