Music Review: Awesome and Versitile!

I've only known about Doyle Dykes for about ten years now. I first heard his H.E.A.T. album a friend gave me. For a while, I couldn't find much of his music, but it all came out recently, thanks to amazon.com. Dykes is extremely versitile and doesn't just stick to one style of music. "Country Fried Pickin'", like his other albums, is an awesome work of art. Whatever can be thought of doing on a guitar, Doyle can do it if he hasn't already. I have only one little beef with him; I really, really, REALLY wish he would do a good instrumental album on a 12-string guitar. As far as I know, there's only one example of that, and it's not on this CD (it's on the H.E.A.T. album). Just the same, I don't tire of his work on the guitar. Five stars easily here.
