Music Review: Now this is what you call REAL music

Since this is a best hits collection, I'm doing this review for all those who haven't gotten a single album from The Corrs. (You living under a bed rock or something??) The Corrs' unique Irish pop music is simply supernatural...and why not? These talented siblings from Ireland compose, play and sing their own songs. Before, I was already expecting (and hoping as well) that they would release their best hits collection....Thanks God they did.

From the 18 tracks, 3 songs are remix versions. Trust me, the original versions are much better than the remix ones. Even so, I'm giving them 5 stars for this (must have been a 4.5). The best Corrs' song for me will always be "Runaway". This love song shows Andrea's soothing voice and the remarkable tinkling of the piano. The second one will be "Radio". It's a good thing that the unplugged version of "Radio" is included here; I don't prefer the "Radio" version from their In Blue album. Caroline's natural drumming is present in this song. Speaking of unplugged songs, they also included an acoustic cover of "Everybody Hurts" and the poignant "Lough Erin Shore" (Of their instrumental tracks, I like "Toss the Feathers" best). There are also their first classic releases, "I Never Loved You Anyway", the plaintive and memorable tune of "Only When I Sleep" and "Dreams". "Give Me A Reason" is like another rendition of the positive-sounding "Breathless". However, I enjoy listening to Sharon's violin solo there. "Irresistible" is a unique modern pop song which talks about admiration.

Other songs which make up this beautiful collection are "Forgiven Not Forgotten" and "Would You Be Happier". If I can change some songs in here, I'd change the remix versions and replace "Lough Erin Shore" with "Toss the Feathers" and add "At Your Side" (another unplugged song). Still, this is a good album and I bet that you're all gonna enjoy their music.
