Music Review: The Best

This is a wonderful collection of original Connie Smith hits. One song that should have been included is Tiny Transistor Radio. I'm not sure why they didn't include it on this collection.
In my opinion, Connie Smith is the greatest female County singer ever! I can't think of any other singer that captures the feeling, the depth, and the just plain wonderful voice that she has. This is real country music, music the way it should be. Many people today aren't familiar with her music. They should re-release all her songs, and I'm sure that a new generation would make her a star. Some things just can't be improved.
From start to finish, this is a wonderful collection. If you buy it you won't regret it.
Another collection you might want to try is Don Gibson RCA Country Legends. This is another collection of original hits. Be careful of songs that have been re-recorded. Amazon (and not only Amazon) has music that has been re-recorded. These shouldn't be sold, but if they are, there should be a notice that they aren't original.
