1. Genio Atrapado - this is the spanish version of Genie in a Bottle. i think this is a great song and is definitely a great translation. i think its a great cd opener and in my opinion sounds better in spanish than in english. Final Grade: A+

2. Falsas Esperanzas - this is the first new spanish song and i think it's great! it's an uptempo song with a salsa feel to it. christina shines singing this song. falsas esperanzas means 'false hopes' in english and is about a girl telling this guy not to lead her on, at least i think. my spanish is pretty good but isn't the best. it's a great dancing song and as always christina sounds great singing. Final Grade: A+

3. El Beso Del Final - This is another new song and it is a ballad. i think it's great. christina somehow sounds different in this song. maybe they did something to her voice, but she still sounds great. and you can feel her umm...i can't think of the word, but you can definitely tell shes really into the song. the translation for this song is 'the last kiss'. Final Grade: A

4. Pero Me Acuerdo De Ti - this is another one of the new spanish songs. this is a beautiful ballad and christina once again sounds great singing it. this is a great song in three ways. one: this has a beautiful melody and i love the music and instrumentals! two: christina really connects with this song and you can hear the passion in her words when she sings it. three: this song really shows off christina's vocal ability and range. this is my favorite track off the album and the song translates to 'but i remember you'. Final Grade: A++ (you know i had to add that extra plus)

5. Ven Conmigo (Solamente Tu) - this is another one of the translated songs. this is the spanish version of come on over. notice i didnt say come on over baby. this is the spanish version of the album version, not the radio remix. i like this one. i don't think it's great like the previous songs, but it's still enjoyable. Final Grade: A-

6. Si No Te Hubiera Conocido - this is another new song. it is a beautiful ballad and duet. christina wanted to help out an aspiring singer so she teamed up with fellow latin singer luis fonsi. like christina he is an artist who sings in both spanish and english. i love this song because not only is the music and lyrics great, but their voices blend together very well. in english the title would be 'if i didn't know you'. Final Grade: A

7. Contigo En La Distancia - this is another new song. but it really isn't new, it's a traditional spanish song called a bolero. this song has been sung by many artists and i have heard it sung by both men and women, but i think christina's version of it would have to be my favorite. christina took this traditional song and added her own touch and the combination was incredible. this is definitely a great song and if you heard it, you would love it too. the translation for this one is 'with you in the distance'. Final Grade: A+

8. Cuando No Es Contigo - this is the last new song on the cd, the rest are translated songs. this is another up tempo song. it also has the salsa feel to it. this is probably my least favorite song on the cd. but it is still really good. thats how good the cd is, my least favorite song is still a very good one. the english title for this song is 'when i'm not with you'. Final Grade: somewhere between a B+ and an A-

9. Por Siempre Tu - this is the spanish version of i turn to you and i must say, i LOVE this track! it definetly sounds better in spanish and also sounds better because christina's voice has grown. you can definitely tell the difference if you would listen to it from mi reflejo and the from christina's first self-titled cd. this song sounds beautiful in spanish and i think the spanish lyrics add a whole new level to the song. Final Grade: A+

10. Una Mujer - this is the spanish version of what a girl wants. my opinion is that the english version is better, but this is still a great song. they did the spanish version of the video version, not the album version. like the other tracks una mujer has great vocals, major props to christina for mastering the spanish accent in the time he had. Final Grade: A-

11. Mi Reflejo - the last song on the cd and the title track. this is the spanish version of reflections. and i must say that christina sounds lke an angel singing it. she can definitely hit the higher notes with more easily this time around and that just adds that much more to the song. the song really does sound better in spanish and i gotta say that this in itself is a great song and i think it really applies to christina. the song is about wanting to know who you really are inside and i think christina has finally found who she is with this cd. Final Grade: A+

all around this is a great cd. the english title of the cd is my reflection and it is a very good title for this cd because this is christina's latin reflection. this is her latin side and is very much a part of her. the songs are great and you shold definitely buy it. regardless if you don't speak the language or don't understand it, it doesn't matter. you don't need to understand the words to feel what it's about. besides, the music and christina's voice is really the highlight of this cd, not the words. i hope this has helped you to decide to buy this cd cuz you really should. it's worth every penny and on account of the quality of the cd, this should really cost much more.
