Music Review: Rozz And Valor Don't Mix

Rozz upon growing up and opening up really became a Dark Cabaret spoken word Bohemian like singer. He (And or Christian Death) Are sadly only critically known for the album "Only Theater of Pain" and yes that is a dark punk record but you got to understand that was a young Rozz and the lyrics to that album were a angst filled document of his childhood growing up with strict Christian parents that can mess any dude up probably why he was on drugs and Bi Sexual. But songs on this album and on later releases such as "Ashes" have a cabaret like Rozz who lost alot of his dark violent punk angst teaming up with Valor who STILL hasn't lost it. "When I Was Bed" from "Ashes" is a great example it sounds like The Lion King soundtrack not CHRISTIAN DEATH. I can see my Grandma liking that song how lame. now this album had too many boring spoken word experimental songs that were repetetive, long, and BORING. "Drowing" very catchy and a hit, "Sleepwalkers:" epic keyboards with Gitane Demone on backing vocals can't go wrong, and "Electra Descending" catchy bassy and the lyrics!!!! "Stonehenge crumbles" neat awsome song. as for the rest of the album "Cervix Couch is way better on the "Deathmix" album as is every other Christian Death remix featured and the other songs are BORING in my opinion. It's sad people compare this to an epic masterpiece like Rozz Williams and Gitane Demones album "Dream Home Heartache". In my opinion Rozz was better solo with a few friends Gitane for example and Valor was and will allways be Christian Death. I'd download key tracks but I wouldn't buy this whole album
