Music Review: The Concerto is abridged!

Smith worshippers will damn me for bringing this up, but his recording of the first movement of the Concerto is abridged. Whatever virtues this collection might possess, for me they are nullified by Smith's cutting the music--this is unforgivable! Get this set only if you want the other pieces in the collection, but get someone else's Concerto--preferably Hamelin-who leaves Smith behind in the dust both technically and interpretively, and plays the piece complete.
