Music Review: What a surprise!

I was on my way to work and heard "Angel" on the radio. I was immediately drawn into the song and wondered who was singing. As I listened further there was no need to guess. I thought to myself that Chaka Khan is back. She blew this song out the box. As soon as I got off work I bought the CD and have not stopped listenng to it! It is truly one of her best songs since "Through the Fire". Chaka you are beautiful and have a bonafide hit.Music Review: Can't Get Any Funkier than this.....

Chaka comes back on the scene after ten years and it is as if she hasn't missed a beat. Chaka does the dayum thang with this soothing and must listen to CD. She is a refresher for all those who has wished for such music. I have always loved Chaka and she has done what she is known for doing singing to the high heavens and gracing us with such a terrific melody of songs. Kudos to Ms. Khan, her associates, writers, and producers.Music Review: We'll be talking about 'Funk This' for years to come..

I am a huge Chaka fan and have every CD she's ever made. 'Funk This' I must say that is my favorite. This disc has every song i've ever wanted to hear from Chaka there is not ONE song that i dont absolutely love! And thats rare. But every song is a soon to be classic. I would recommend this disc to anyone and everyone. If you never heard of Chaka's music beofre, buy this disc.. and i'll promise you, you'll never forget!! Awesome!Music Review: Back, full circle

Chaka Khan is back, and with a vengeance.
The new album is fun, funky and with great tunes, both old and new.
Granted, I've been a fan some 24+ years, but she still manages to amaze and enthrall.
"Funk This" is one of the must-have albums for all Chaka fans, but also for anyone who loves music with heart&soul.
Let's keep her in the charts for a while, and hope there will be a fantastic follow-up soon...

What can I say that hasn't already been said about Chaka,she is one of the greatest R&B, Soul,Jazz,Funk vocalist of all time still,Chaka can do no wrong vocally,a legend. And her autobiograpghy "Through the Fire" is a good read on the life of this icon of vocal soul and power. I would encourage anyone who loves this lady to pick this CD up.If you don't know her all I can ask is "What Planet do you live on"?
