This album is so cozy and it's so family oriented. She actually has her family members sing with her. The Prayer became one of my favorite songs of all time as a result of Celine's duet with Andrea Bocelli. This album can be enjoyed year round.
Description of These Are Special Times
By the time her first variety special aired on CBS television Thanksgiving Eve 1998, Celine Dion's reputation as one of the most acclaimed entertainers in history was solidified. By the close of the decade, she would become the world's best-selling female artist, selling more than 160 million albums. The television special for These Are Special Times was a ratings champion, ranking #1 for the night and garnering two Emmy Award nominations.
This Collector's Edition of Celine Dion's multi-platinum holiday album, These Are Special Times, contains a remastered version of the original CD -PLUS- the previously unreleased These Are Special Times DVD featuring the entire CBS television special that accompanied the original release of the album. The DVD captures Celine performing her biggest hits in spectacular fashion including "My Heart Will Go On," from Titanic, "Power Of Love" and "Let's Talk About Love" along with some of her favorite holiday classics. Also featured on the DVD is an exclusive performance by Andrea Bocelli, duets with Rosie O'Donnell and Andrea Bocelli as well as Celine Dion's previously unavailable interpretation of the Roberta Flack classic "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face."
