It's a good CD. Has some songs I never heard of but I was able to groove to them none the less. If you love Celia, you can't go wrong.
Description of Greatest Hits
The definitive, greatest hits album by The Queen of Salsa! The sixteen selections have been remastered from the original multi-track recordings and are representative of Celia Cruz's successful career in Latin Music.The 16-track album includes hits from the early period of her career with the Sonora Matancera and Tito Puente, such as "Cao Cao Mani Picao" and "La Sopa En Botella." Other selections are from the 1970's through the 1980's when Celia became an international star.
"Quimbara," "Usted Abuso," "Cucala" and "Toro Mata" are from albums with Johnny Pacheco. "Lo Tuyo Es Mental" and "Latinos En Estados Unidos" are from collaborations with Willie Colon. "Gracia Divina" is Celia's contribution to Larry Harlow's Latin Opera. No Celia Cruz collection would be complete without her hits with the Fania All Stars, such as "Bamboleo" and "Bemba Colora"
