Music Review: Three Salsa greats got together to create this masterpiece.

This 1983 release is an undisputed Salsa classic. "Nadie Se Salva De La Rumba","De Repente" and the ageless "La Cana y La Plantacion" are sizzling-HOT! Salsa dance jams that define what the New York Salsa sound was all about. Celia and Adalberto complement each other nicely thanks to their venerable soneos (improvisations) and classy vocals. Yes, this album was originally released at a time when Salsa was losing ground to Cumbia and Merengue in terms of popularity but these three Salsa greats proved that good Salsa will always have an audience ("Tremendo Trio" received a Grammy nomination). A must-have for any fan of classic Salsa.
