Music Review: Cecilia Music makes your Heart Throb

I am a musician of 50 years. I teach music (drums), so I have been in touch with all styles of music and met and performed with many musicians in my life, some famous, some down the street. I have found Cecilia Noel to be an inspiration to professional and novice musicians as well as an audience in general. It is easy to see how her heart is so touched by music, and she passes that on to audiences of all ages and creeds. Cecilia has created what she calls "SA-SOUL," it's a mambo with a flare and intesity that is hard to explain in text.
This CD is wonderfully thought out with both slow and fast tempos with a spanish flare that is different than all others. I also suggest that you view her DVD (Live in Hollywood), turn up the surround sound and let your feet dance and your heart throb.

Description of A Gozar!
Originally discovered by Stan Getz in Peru, Cecilia Noel describes her music as salsoul, elements of salsa, blended with elements of soul and jazz. On her aptly titled new CD A Gozár! (To Enjoy), Noel demonstrates why critics have long called her the Latin Tina Turner.A Gozár! is both a very personal album and a manifestation of Noel s love of music and dance. Noel wanted the CD to be something that you can put on at your party and dance. Take a little break to dance the ballad cheek-to-cheek and then dance some more. The tracks range from new material to tributes to some of the great Salsa and Cuban artists of the past and some of Noel s favorite long-time standards. A Gozár!, says Noel, is the soundtrack of my life in a way the songs I ve enjoyed singing the most and have sung with a vision of having people have a great time and really dancing but also being blown away.
