Music Review: It sounds as dated as it is...

It probably is best to wait awhile before thinking that some "musical" is a classic. It has been now some 30 years since the release of this title and the passage of time has decidedly not been good to this recording. In fact, it makes you wonder if your 'ears" were deceiving you back then. Of course, there's still "Memories" and all that but other than that the recording simply doesn't stand the test of time.Music Review: CATS, 1981 production

This 2 disc cd of the original cast in London is a very enjoyable program. I, however, would have wished there had been a listing in the booklet program that would have named the songs each of the actors/actresses performed. I knew before I purchaced this cd set that Sarah Brightman sung a song in it. I believe it is her that sings Memory toward the end of the second cd. Highly recommended.Music Review: CATS is always good!

Great album for the enthusiast. However, I liked the overture from the Broadway version better. THis "Original Cast" album overture is too quick. Other than that Elaine Paige is awesome as always. Any true CATS fan will have to have both albums though.Music Review: Quick service

Although it was getting close to Christmas they shipped this item to me in time (as I requested) so I'm very grateful for that. The CD came wrapped professionally and was in perfect condition.

We've always liked the London Cast recording of Cats, and this CD version replaces the version on LP that we have about worn out. It was a very good price, shipped quickly, and was well packaged. Thanks.
