Music Review: True genius at work--Camila

Both albums are completely worth your time. The songs are poetry at its best.
The stories within the songs are all so real, moving, touching and relatable, and written with such sensibility.
The lyrics, while very true and relatable are by no means trite or predictable.
The melodies, the harmony, the guitar are all so amazing.
I find myself listening to a song once for the vocals--which are heavenly and like silk.
Then I listen for the guitar--magical. Finally, I listen for the piano and other elements within the song.
I believe Camila filled a void which was missing since Sin Bandera went their separate ways to embark on solo careers.
Camila provides beautifully composed music with meaning and passion. Their music is moving, powerful and enjoyable.
The c.d.'s have a vibe and mood, but occasionally you sense something a little new or different in a song and that is awesome too.
Like the song called Yo Quiero, which is so funky, cool and sassy. I think this song is under appreciated and ahead of its time in the Spanish Language music arena.
Both c.d.'s are a must!!!
The waiting for yet another album will be tough, but I'm sure worth the wait.
