Music Review: Hello? Drum Machine?

I can't believe none of the other reviews even mentioned the drum machine. I can understand how a casual listener may not notice, because it sounds like real drums except it is all programmed. There is no soul to the drumming. There is lot of fast double bass which brian doesn't play. Brian just had a say in HOW it was programmed. Trust me, I'm a drummer.
Anyways, I just had to get that off my chest. Well, this is Buckethead doing his HEAVY metal album. This, album is more brutal than his others. Unfortunately, Buckethead is best at hard rockin' funky stuff. But hey, the bucket cannot be denied, he still knows how to keep ya entertained. This album doesn't have any silly commentary like his most popular albums, this is a serious outing, although still quite eccentic. The playing consists of a lot of shredding and a lot of chugging guitar.
I wouldn't recommend this album to a new listener to Buckethead, not even if you're a metalhead. This just isn't Buckethead's thing. It sounds a little forced, this album is "THE HEAVY METAL ALBUM." Plus, the drumming is very mechanical and tiresome after a couple songs. As a beginner, start with the straight-ahead rocker, "Giant Robot" or the more techno/hip hop influenced, "Monsters and Robots." Both albums are masterpieces.
Please, let me tell you that the 3 star rating is based on Buckethead's potential as judged on his other albums. This album is much better than 99% of pop music.
